Helmet and Hat Display
Museum Signage Systems
Hat/Helmet stands are a sturdy and easy-to-use display solution for hats, helmets, and other forms of headgear. They securely support using their flat and wide bicycle-seat-shaped mount, which maximizes stability and applicable usage cases.
They come in two sizes (12” and 18” in height) and two options of materials (clear acrylic, or semi-flat black steel). The acrylic variant comes in two pieces (post and base separate) and has a 0.75” thick base & 1” diameter post, while the steel variant comes in one piece and has a 0.25” thick & 0.5” diameter post.
*Note: Acrylic scratches easily, handle with care. We carry plastic cleaner for removing scratches, which can be found on our plastic cleaners page.

Displaying Helmets, Hats, and Headdresses
There are a wide range of collectible helmets and hats from many cultures and time periods. From the ancient bronze Greek helmet to an antique top hat to a full African headdress, they all tend to be straightforward to display. Since they were all made to fit on a person’s head, it is just a matter of providing something the right size for them to rest on. Unlike a typical hat or helmet that you may throw on a hat rack, collectible headwear benefits from the additional weight and dignity that a proper stand yields to their display.
