      PRODUCT DETAILS

Large T-Arm displays are the biggest sizes of T-Arms available and are made with more rigid metal than the smaller T-Arms models. They are an effective display solution for larger objects, such as masks and mid-sized swords. Tools are highly recommended for shaping, bending, and cutting Large T-Arms, and can be found on the Mount Making Supplies page.

      Bases:

The bases are cast acrylic and are available either painted semi-flat black or unpainted and clear. Bases are also available in a variety of sizes for maximum customization, although they all are 1/2” in thickness. A wider base means additional stability and is highly recommended when a large armature is being used.

      Armatures:

The arms are made of 1/8” metal and is 10" across. The upright post is made of 1/4” metal and is 12" tall. The metal display armature is removable from the base so that it can be more easily formed to the desired shape (e.g bending the main post in a vice or cutting it with Lineman’s pliers or a hacksaw). For wall-mounted displays, the armature may also be ordered without the base. A helpful instructional video for shaping armatures can be found here.

*Note: Avoid putting pressure on soldered joints when bending. Also, when modifying the post, be sure to remove it from the base very carefully to minimize damage risk to the base as that specific junction can be very tight

      Custom Armatures:

Sometimes a custom sized armature fulfills your needs more effectively than a standard one. You might want a larger or smaller armature, or maybe you need a stronger or more delicate upright. Whatever your needs may be, we can customize or custom build an armature for you.

      CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS

*Nice and sturdy, but easy enough to bend into shape, and the price feels right for the quality. It looks good and does the job without detracting from the actual display piece.
      W.G. (Greenwich, CT USA)

*Great product, quick shipping. I wish there were instructions on fitting a mask to the bars though. Great price. Be careful it scratches easy. - Rebecca

*The arms are a little difficult to shape but once in place it does the job. - LD

*Exactly what I wanted, Very pleased with all aspects of sale!!!! - P Marshall

*Stands work well for a tall mask as well as small ones. The video was key to making the display stands work. - Barbara B, CO

*The stand was as described and very sturdy to support my African mask which is made of wood. - Deedee
