Acrylic can scratch easily, we carry a variety of plastic cleaners and polishes which can help to protect, restore, and enhance the aesthetic properties of smooth acrylic components, be it for display products, household appliances, office equipment, etc.

Brillianize (BR1-8) is a unique anti-static, alcohol free and ammonia free cleaning fluid that is used for surfacing, polishing, and cleaning plastic (generally acrylic) surfaces. It’s safe to use around children and pets. It gently cleans plastic without leaving scratches or visible residue. After use, it leaves a lustrous shine that resists fogging, repels dust, and eliminates static. It is useful for all sorts of plastic products ranging from acrylic mounts to aquariums to photocopiers. Brillianize is sold in 8 oz containers.

Novus Cleaner #1 (Included in NPK-2) Is a plastic cleaner that gently removes dust when initially used, and then leaves a lustrous shine that resists fogging, repels dust, and eliminates static after drying. It is not sold separately and only included in the Polish Kit, which is SKU NPK-2.

Novus Polish #2 (NP2-8) is a plastic cleaner that removes light scratches from plastic. To use, simply apply a small amount to a polishing cloth, and gently rub the cloth on the scratched areas of the plastic in a circular motion and uniformly apply the plastic cleaner thoroughly to the entire surface. There should be a minimal amount of pressure applied throughout the polishing process. The Novus #2 Polish should dry to a light hazy finish that obscures light scratches. Finishing with Novus #1 or Brillianize removes most of this haze and furthermore protects the surface against future scratching. Novus #2 is sold in 8 oz containers.

Novus Polish #3 (NP3-8) is a plastic polish designed for the removal of deep scratches in plastic surfaces. To use, apply the polish to a polishing cloth, and rub the cloth perpendicularly to the scratches in a gentle motion. Once the polish dries, apply Novus #2, and then #1, following the respective directions for each of them, repeating as necessary. Novus #3 is sold in 8 oz containers.

Polishing Cloths (NPM-6) are nonabrasive and lint-free absorbent cloths. Disposable cloths are recommended as reusable cloths tend to trap dust and dirt over time which will hamper the polishing and cleaning process. Polishing Cloths significantly reduce scratching risk on sensitive plastic surfaces when applying cleaners and polishes; they are specifically designed for use on acrylic surfaces. Polishing Cloths are sold in packs of 6.

Novus Polish Kits (NPK-2) are bundles of an assortment of Novus Polish products that facilitate the easy removal of a variety of levels of severity of scratches from a wide variety of acrylic products. Included in the kit are:

1) Novus #1 Plastic cleaner -2oz

1) Novus #2 Light scratch remover -2oz

1) Novus #3 Heavy scratch remover -2oz

1) Polishing cloth - specialized lint free soft and disposable plastic specific cleaning cloth. 

Note: Do not use plastic polishes on surfaces that are not meant to be shiny or glossy, such as matte finishes.
